Rough Mixes....

Hey anyone/everyone who may be reading this blog. I am about to take that step and release some recordings I've been working on for some months now on my own. It's been an interesting process of recording and re-recording, trying to come up with something I can live with. The fate of the Trekky studio hangs on the edge of a cliff, so I'm trying to finish this thing soon. Tentative title is In Your Bedroom.

So for the 4 admitted followers, I'd like honest feedback about what should and should not go on the "album." In the end your choices may affect the final product. If you have suggestions about order, flow, or which songs are your favorite/least favorite leave them as comments.

Here's the playlist:

And since we're on the subject of playlists, here's a list of the most popular songs U.S. military interrogators blasted at detainees while they were being tortured in Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay. Thanks for the fun fact FOX NEWS!

• "Enter Sandman," Metallica.

• "Bodies," Drowning Pool.

• "Shoot to Thrill," AC/DC.

• "Hell's Bells," AC/DC.

• "I Love You," from the "Barney and Friends" children's TV show.

• "Born in the USA," Bruce Springsteen.

• "Babylon," David Gray.

• "White America," Eminem.

• "Sesame Street," theme song from the children's TV show.

Other bands and artists whose music has been frequently played at U.S. detention sites: Aerosmith, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Don McLean, Lil' Kim, Limp Bizkit, Meat Loaf, Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Tupac Shakur.

First of all, great work. I think all the tracks are album-worthy, just the same, here's my list....

1- Cube
2- Seem to Be
3- Sunday Morning
4- Call me up
5- Can't Love

Maybe you'll be lucky enough to make the Guantanamo top 9! I like that the Sesame Street theme made the list......

Keep up the good work man.
