I've said it before, and I'll say it again, German TV was AWESOME!
This video is of The Pretty Things performing in what appears to be some weird masonic lodge in front of a cheesy western backdrop complete with a broken down stage coach. This campy show starts the off with an odd tongue in cheek mock Mozart parody from some unknown rock band, alternated with a weird folky act, and then ends with the main event, The Pretty Things ... WACKY! You'll have to go to the 22:50 mark to see them, but they're punk as shit! Worth the wait!
The sound/video quality is impeccable for this era, and the crowd shots are amazing. A real slice of weirdo history that may otherwise have been forgotten!
