The Pains of Being Pure at Heart

OK, while I hate their name, I kinda like this new hype band basically because they sound like good stuff from the past and to me it's OK to wear your influences on your sleeve as long as those influences are GOOD. RIYL: Jesus & Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine, Swirlies and the other jangle swirl-pop bands from the late 80's and early 90's.

That being said the little "cute" girl on keys is kinda letting me down with her incompetent vocals which sounded a lot better on their self-titled record. Here it is for you to stream:
